Inspired by my own choice of ingredients for Paper Chef #44, I made these 'fall' tarts, & served them with ginger-vanilla poached pears.
The custard is a delicious fusion of flavours, none of them overpowering. Just simple subtle flavours, combining elegantly to flavour the custard. Simple enough to be enjoyed by the kids too.
Inspired by Tartlette, I made a Plum & Dried Black Grape Frangipane Clafoutis...and a compote to match. Delicious!
