A delicious touch to the Chicken Coriander soup is to fry three slices of streaky bacon until very crisp, cool on a kitchen paper. Then crack into smaller pieces and sprinkle on top. RRRRRRRR!!!

At New Cafe in Durban, the thinly sliced potato skin was topped with equally delicious thinly sliced bacon,  and melted cheddar cheese floated over the bacon and potatoes as generously as the South African sunshine.

I soaked 4 cup cakes left over from Halloween in French Strawberry  syrup. I poured additional syrup on our plates  and then we indulged in the soft, sweet, strawberry sirupy, cup cakes. Yum!
