Vietnamese style shrimp toast with thai basil, cilantro and Sriracha Hoisin mayo. A recreation of one of my fave dishes at Son of A Gun restaurant in Los Angeles.
Have you eaten Bun Rieu? A delicious break from the usual Vietnamese pho. The soup is made from crab and tomatoes and topped with vermicelli noodles, crab/shrimp paste, herbs and lettuce. delicious.
Portland-style Italian food can be found right in Venice's Abbot Kinney Boulevard. Great food coupled with cocktails from one of Portland's best bartenders.
Vietnamese love crepes too. "Banh Xeo" is a crepe made with rice flour, turmeric, coconut milk, salt and water batter. It's fried into a crepe and filled with shrimp, pork and bean sprouts. A tasty treat.
