This is the Banana Split that got it all started for us…
We wanted to stay as “homemade” as possible, so two of the ice creams are based on the One-Ingredient Banana Ice Cream, one is a Mango Sorbet, the fruit toppings are all cut fresh fruit (and cherries), and the whipped “cream” is actually that Whipped Coconut Cream we’ve been talking about all week. Super easy, super fresh, and while it is more of a frozen fruit salad, our Tropical All-Fruit Banana Split tastes as indulgent as a regular Banana Split.
Tropical All Fruit Banana Split
for each Tropical All Fruit Banana Split:
1 banana, split down the middle lengthwise
1 scoop One-Ingredient Banana Ice Cream, which, if you haven’t made yet, you should
1 scoop One Ingredient Banana Ice Cream with Strawberry
1 scoop Mango Sorbet
chopped fresh kiwi
chopped fresh pineapple
a spoonful of hot fudge
Whipped Coconut Cream
Place split bananas on either side of a bowl.
Place each scoop of ice cream or sorbet between the two halves.
Top one scoop with chopped fresh kiwi, one scoop with chopped fresh pineapple, and one scoop with hot fudge. Top all three scoops with Whipped Coconut Cream and a fresh cherry.
Serve immediately (obvs).
