Tea and Cookies Cookbook and Tea Stick {giveaway}

Tea and Cookies Cookbook and Tea Stick
Here’s a quick little giveaway, perfect for an afternoon on a gorgeous almostwinter day…We are giving away a copy of Tea and Cookies, a cookbook by Rick Rodgers with recipes for both teas as well as little cakes, cookies and treats to accompany. We’re also adding The Tea Stick, a handy little thing that lets you scoop your tea leaves out of the container, then steep, all in one graceful motion. We would have kept The Tea Stick for the TasteSpotting HQ Kitchen, but the Tea Stick is $25, so we felt guilty about keeping it. Besides, we’re a three-cups-of-coffee family here.

(Tea cup and saucer not included! Those are my Mom’s.)

To Enter This Giveaway:

  1. Leave a comment on this post with your favorite kind of tea. Don’t worry if you don’t like tea, just make something up. This is a random drawing so it doesn’t matter what you say. (Also, don’t worry if you can’t see the actual comment after you submit. We can see it.)
  2. Make sure to enter your email address in the box provided so we can contact you
  3. Share this giveaway post with your friends on facebook and twitter! (not required, but we’d love the help!)

You have until Wednesday December 21, 2011 at 12pm PST to comment. Everyone is welcome to comment to enter, but we can only ship this stuff in the U.S. (So if you’re outside the US and win, you just need to provide us with a US mailing address to send!)

Good luck! And don’t forget that you can still enter the Campfire Cooking at Home giveaway, too!

There is nothing like a really fantastic, earthy pu-erh drunk hot, preferably with friends you’ve just made in a hutong in wintry Beijing.

Or, perhaps you’re eating crazy good Korean food in said hutong, and they give you a nice cool glass of cinnamon tea to tame the spiciness.

That said, I’d still find a way to make use of that awesome tea-stick, maybe give it a whirl with some darjeeling from my cousin’s tea gardens.

My favorite tea, if I had to pick one, is definitely The Naughty Vicar blend from The London Tea Room in St. Louis, MO. If you’re ever in the area, please please please stop by there! It’s so good! And the loose-leaf tea prices are very reasonable. (http://thelondontearoom.com/)

P.S. I don’t work there or anything, but I’m a long-time fan who loves to promote her favorite St. Louis spots.
