Wildcard Week and Mushroom Masters Final Scorecard – Let’s Hear it For…

We’ve reached the end of our month-long Mushroom Masters: Tournament of Taste and what a battle it has been!

Just to catch up anyone who’s here for the first time, each week during the month of September we featured a head-to-head battle with food bloggers from Australia, Canada and the United States. Each blogger submitted an original recipe and photos that used that week’s selected mushroom variety.

Our final round was a “wildcard” week, and was the closest competition with almost a three-way tie among the Grilled Mushroom Halloumi Cheeseburger, Hot Mushroom Cheese Dip and Brie Stuffed Mushrooms until the very end!

But Australia’s Souvlaki for the Soul pulled ahead to win with a recipe for Grilled Mushroom Halloumi Burgers! Congratulations, Australia!

And of course, congratulations to all of our winners!
