Mint Lemonade Sorbet Recipe from Sweet Lucie’s

Sweet Lucie's Mint Lemonade Sorbet
When life gives you lemons…

…add some fresh mint leaves, and make a mint lemonade sorbet!

At least that’s what those of us who can’t make the LA Street Food Fest’s Summer Tasting Event will have to do if we want to taste the fresh, organic sorbets and ice creams of Sweet Lucie’s.

The Mint Lemonade Sorbet is inspired by the mint lemonade from one of Sweet Lucie’s founders’ favorite LA bistros, Nosh Cafe in downtown San Pedro. To make an easy at-home version of the Mint Lemonade Sorbet, use your favorite organic lemonade, fresh organic mint leaves, and half an organic lemon.

Simple At-Home Organic Mint Lemonade Sorbet Recipe

from the Sweet Lucie’s Truck

½ organic lemon
4 cups organic lemonade
finely chopped organic mint leaves

Zest and juice ½ of an organic lemon.

Combine all of the ingredients. Chill overnight. Freeze in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer’s instructions.
