We know.

The LAST thing you want to see halfway through International Cleanse/Diet/Detox/Workout/New Year/New You Month is an entire calendar celebrating FOOD.

However, this is TasteSpotting, and our life’s philosophy is to Live-it, rather than die-it. We recognize that there are days like National Cream Puff Day (January 2), Chocolate Covered Cherries Day (January 3), and Chocolate Cake Day (January 27) in January, we’re also celebrating the fact that the first 31 days of the new year are also National Oatmeal Month.

Oatmeal, my TasteSpotting friends, is both awesomely comforting AND definitely part of any January gentle cleanse, so we’re sharing the 28 not-so-usual recipes we did for the Oatmeal Project (click on any of the images of above to see the recipe), and are encouraging you to check out the January’s Food Holiday calendar without guilt!

Happy Eating to you, and Live-it!

We’re organized the food “holidays” in a google calendar that you can add to your own. They’re also all typed out in an easy to copy+paste list below.
