Giving $200 to One of Our Friends, Plus Honey Vanilla Sour Cream {recipe}

Fresh Blueberries with Sour Cream

This giveaway post is brought to you by our sponsor, Breakstone’s/Knudsen Sour Cream.

We have $200 for a gift card that we’d like to give to one of our friends.

Except you have to do something in return.

Because like, what? You think this is like our last relationship in which all we did was givegivegive to get nothing in return? Except the expectation that we give some more?! It’s not! Relationships are a two way street, you know!

Sorry, did we share too much? We just got lost in our emotions for a second there.

So yes, along with our sponsor Breakstone’s Sour Cream, we’re giving away a $200 gift card. Here’s the short version of what you need to do put yourself in the running for it.

How to Enter the $200 Gift Card Giveaway

  1. Like our sponsor, Breakstone’s Sour Cream on facebook
  2. Post on Breakstone’s wall with your favorite food with sour cream
  3. Add “@TasteSpotting” to your post so we know you posted

Don’t have a favorite sour cream food or recipe? Just pick anything from the 25 of our favorites above, or from the hundreds of sour cream recipes we have on TasteSpotting! And if you don’t really eat sour cream, well, don’t tell us.

We’re going to pick a winner from the hundreds (!) of thousands (!) of new friends we make after the entry period closes at the end of the month. Please, enter only once. Feel free to share the contest with all of your friends. Support our sponsor by eating lots of sour cream.

And if you’re curious about one of our favorite ways to eat Breakstone’s/Knudsen Sour Cream (other than on a Southwest Burger or as White Chocolate Frosting on Carrot Cupcakes), we’re sharing a recipe for a lightly sweet Honey Vanilla Sour Cream that very quickly and easily transforms a simple of fresh berries into a legitimate dessert.

Or an illegitimate one, as the case may be.

Honey Vanilla Sour Cream

makes about 1 cup

1 cup (8-ounces) Breakstone’s/Knudsen sour cream
4 tablespoons honey (more or less to taste)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest

Whisk together sour cream, honey, vanilla, and lemon zest until well combined and smooth.

Spoon over fresh berries, or serve in bowl alongside cut fresh fruit for dipping.

Everyone seems to assume that everyone is on Facebook. I’m not and probably never will be.
