While the hackers threw us for a little productivity loop the last few days, they didn’t stop us from planning and getting ready for our second virtual sour cream party for our sponsor, Breakstone’s sour cream. In fact, we’re so happy to be back up after all that we’ve decided to make this Friday’s party a little more fun with a contest. What’s a party without a little game, right?

How to Enter the $250 Sour Cream Party Contest
We’d love for you to play along. Here’s how:
Whip up something delicious with sour cream in it, post it to your blog, submit it to TasteSpotting tagged with “Breakstones” by midnight (eastern time) Thursday April 21.
Starting Friday morning, we’re going to showcase all of the most gorgeous sour cream-based recipes we get. We’ll take the weekend to review them, pick our favorite, and post the $250 winner on Monday.

What if I don’t have a blog? Can I still play the game?
YES! If you don’t have a blog and would still like to contribute, we can work something out right here. Just drop an email to Sarah at TasteSpotting dot com! We’ll probably have you cook your dish, photograph it, and write it up as “guest post” on our little blog here. But do this SOON because we have to get it up on our blog on Thursday night!
What if I don’t have a good camera?
Just like any regular submission for TasteSpotting, you don’t necessarily need a big, expensive camera to play. You just need a good enough camera that can take decent photos.
What if I don’t have a camera at all?
Um. We can’t help you there. Maybe borrow one?
I brought a dish to the Sour Cream Party last week – can I enter it into contest?
YES! If you submitted a sour cream recipe for last week’s party, you can still enter that for this week’s contest! Just drop an email to us and let us know which submission it was.
Can I enter more than one recipe?
YES! We would love for you to enter more than one recipe!
What should I make?!
That is up to you! There are no recipe categories so you can make an appetizer, main dish, dessert, for kids, something holiday-oriented — anything! Just make sure there is sour cream in, on, or around your dish/recipe.
What is that dish at the top of this post?
That’s our Baby Potatoes and Haricot Verts with Sour Cream and Chives. We’re going to post it up for the Sour Cream party on Friday, but don’t worry, we aren’t entering ourselves into our own contest. That would be a little cheeky, wouldn’t it? Ok, maybe we’re going to enter the contest, but we won’t let ourselves win.
